Received intensive pre-professional training in fine arts alongside academic studies. Exhibited work in multiple city-wide exhibitions, received awards including Best in Show and multiple first-place recognitions.

Transformer’s 21st Annual Benefit Art Auction & Gala:  Inspired by themes of interconnection & inclusivity - Transformer’s Everything is Everything Benefit Art Auction & Gala will present over 140+ artworks in a public exhibition throughout the LINE DC’s gorgeous property in the heart of Adams Morgan, DC.

The Georgetowner. “Black Excellence: Past, Present, and Future in D.C. and Georgetown.” February 12, 2025. “Another senior involved in bringing “I Can Fly” to life was Ana Gonzalez-Galvan. A visual artist talented far beyond her years, Gonzalez-Galvan displayed a myriad of her paintings in the exhibition, each of which possesses a level of technical detail and emotional depth sure to take your breath away. "

Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs 

Mexico City, Mexico

Selected by the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs to join an initiative for Artists abroad for discussions of Art and Culture. Grant fully covered round-trip airfare from Washington, D.C. to Mexico City, as well as all meals and additional travel expenses.

Work Distributed by Student Diplomacy Corps - Created and exhibited artwork during a cultural program in Spain. Selected pieces were chosen for print and distributed as postcards to the organization’s donors.

First Visual Arts winner in history of the DC Chapter Psi Phi Fraternity Talent Hunt. Winning first place in both 2024 and 2025.

Know Your Power Civic Engagement Winner,
DC Public Library

Awarded first place in the Know Your Power Civic Engagement Art Competition, a citywide contest open to all schools across D.C., this competition was organized by the DC Public Library. Recognized for the depth of meaning and impact behind the work.

Full Scholarship

SADI Moore Summer Institute

Awarded a full scholarship to attend SADI Moore’s four-week Summer Art Institute. The opportunity was made possible through the Winston Scholarship, which covered the application fee.

Best in Show, Visual Arts Exhibition

Duke Ellington Gallery

Won Best in Show at the annual Visual Arts Exhibition, where all visual arts students showcased their work. Recognized for outstanding artistic achievement.

Awarded the Winston Arts Scholarship in 2024, which covered the application fee for attending Sadie Moore’s Summer Art Institute, enabling further artistic development and exploration.

Student Diplomacy Corps
