This piece was a slight turn for me, and was something that I had the sudden urge to express. I still wanted to play into that contemplation of how everyone around you is as complex as yourself but I wanted to focus and reflect on how I as the artist was feeling. I am the main subject in this drawing and am surrounded by my classmates back in kindergarten. In this piece I explore that childlike bliss and wonder further. Unbeknownst and oblivious to future problems and responsibilities, this moment is complete peace.
